About the Artist:

Primarily self- taught, artist Christopher Daux Nelson tries to capture the life and character of the places and people that he paints.  He divides his time and efforts among those places he loves the most:  the foothills of the Appalachians in West Virginia, the Vieux Carre of New Orleans, Louisiana, and “ old towne” Charleston, South Carolina.
